The SLX040A0XY3 Digital DLynxIIITM power module

is a non-isolated dc-dc converter that can deliver

up to 40A of output current. It operates over a

wide input voltage range from 7.0VDC to 14VDC and

provides precisely regulated output voltage

programmable from 0.45VDC to 2.0VDC via PMBusTM

set through the master module. The master

module employs an advanced PID based adjustable

digital control loop which ensures loop stability,

provides fast transient response and reduces

amount of required output capacitance. Additional

40A satellite phase modules can be connected in

parallel to form a high current common rail or a

second stand-alone bus with the right Master

Module. Main features include: digital PMBusTM

interface, programmable enable logic and control,

cycle-by-cycle output current monitoring, input

and output under-voltage and over-voltage

protections, under-temperature and overtemperature

protections and more. The

SLX040A0XY3 power module is highly

configurable, and yet easy to use. See table at end

of this datasheet for possible Master-Satellite pairings
