Description
The MCP4011/2/3/4 devices are volatile, 6-bit Digital Potentiometers that can be configured as either a potentiometer or rheostat. The wiper setting is controlled through a simple Up/Down(U/D) serial
interface.

? 64 Taps: 63 Resistors with Taps to terminal A and terminal B
? Simple Up/Down(U/D) Protocol
? Power-on Recall of Default Wiper Setting
- Custom POR wiper settings available(contact factory)
? Resistance Values: 2.1 k¦¸, 5 k¦¸, 10 k¦¸or 50 k¦¸
? Low Tempco:
- Absolute (Rheostat): 50 ppm (0¡ãC to 70¡ãC typ.)
- Ratiometric (Potentiometer): 10 ppm (typ.)
? Low Wiper Resistance: 75¦¸(typ.)
? High-Voltage Tolerant Digital Inputs: Up to 12.5V
? Low-Power Operation: 1 ?A Max Static Current
? Wide Operating Voltage Range:
- 1.8V to 5.5V - Device Operation
